Just thought because I have quick access to a computer it would be nice to get a couple two days activities out of the way. Yesterday I went to the gym and we skipped signing up for my marathon because we wanted to get back. little did we know that yesterday was the last day to sign up because this morning the sheets were all full and they aren't excepting any more runners. Bummer, it just wasn't to be, so unfortunate to watch that activity pop out of reach in 24 hours.
Last night as well I took a long afternoon nap. Which was very much on the must do list, unlike my marathon sign ups. I haven't been sleeping well since I got here. The first night was alright because I was on the verge of sleep drunk anyways. But now that my body is running on half a tank of sleep I am hoping one of these nights I can really get a good recharge. WE Live right on the main drag of town. Which is nice for navigating in a town I am not familiar with. But crap if you want to sleep like I do in the states. Mufflers are optional on Cars, Pick-ups and Motorcycles. And all motorized transport is not confined my traffic laws. Unless you considered the once a month motorcycle helmet enforcement. All other vehicles do as they please on sidewalks medians and streets as long as they don't get hurt and cause an accidents. Kinda like mom used to say when we got on our bikes, "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt" SSSSOOOOOOOOO you can pray for a good nights sleep for me. I did get ear plugs tonight so I'm hoping for a big improvement. Oh and noise from the bread store that turns on every machine and cranks their radio at 4:30 every morning. Let's us pray because the odds are stacked against me and nothing short of a Milagro could improve this situation.
I also went to the thursday night annex service at the Hogar. Tom had told me he wanted me to speak a bit. But I forgot so when they invited me up Tom was going to translate. But to avoid getting stuck as the AMERICAN WHO DOESN'T KNOW SPANISH. I decided to skip to and just speak spanish. I said thank you for the great worship it was a amazing rock show with a 8 year old drummer and a bunch of 40 year olds. Super fun. And yada yada.
After the service Sara invited all her friends over and they wanted to watch a movie. Just so happens that I don't watch scary movies and this one looked scary. So I googled it while they changed the language, decided I didn't like my wiki summery of the movie and went to bed. But after they movie 2 of the guys went stealth into my room and tried to tug my sheets off. The girls and Tom were having a fun time laughing at what was happening from the outside. Little did they know that I all ready had my dark sweatshirt on trying to block mosquitos and sound from the road. So I walked outside but they couldn't see me until I was close because it was 2:15 in the morning. Which panicked the girls after a scary movie. So we're square up I guess.
Today we went to a community out reach for some local nurse and hygenist. They cleaned teeth and did a little medical check up with the pediatrician. They transformed this ratty old trailer into a mobile unit that actually looks great. The outside looks kinda hokey but inside it's like a, wow, gitter done. Fun day I went to another youth event. But we had car troubles. Dead batteries and no Natural Gas. The Second van they had is converted to run on natural gas. Yup. But now I can officially say I had driving in every area of the America's. North, Central, and South.
Good night and wish me luck

Hi Scott! Re: the dance, write some of those down so we can have a GREAT new playlist. You might even have to buy a new pair of tango shoes. God can use you in lots of outreach opportunities, and using your dance skills might just be another. I'm praying EC 3 and Romans 8:28 for you today! And expecting you'll be able to bust out some new moves for Em, Christie and me when you get home! It's always a party with our otter friend Scotty
Got ear plugs and I only woke up onces when my ear plugs fell out. What an answer to prayer cuz my batteries feel recharged after a long couple of days
So glad you got a good nights rest...As you know it is so important to your health and ability to serve. Not surprised you scared those girls...you have always been a little sneaky sneak.
